Cashed Out Inbox Dollars

October 11th, 2013 at 04:12 am

It took about a year this time, I think. Smile

But I have $41.53 on the way, which will make a nice mortgage chip.

    Hi!
I also do the inbox dollars. I have a question. Do you know if this income is taxable? In other words, will they send a form that I have to use to claim the income on my taxes? I am yet to receive my first check as soon as I will have at least $40 in it to avoid the $3 check processing fee.

    Hi Getforfree,

It is taxable income, but you would need to earn at least $600 in a calendar year to receive a 1099.

I claim my misc income from Inbox Dollars, Hausernet, secret shops, etc. on my 1040 on line 21 "Other Income". If I chose not to claim it, I doubt it would ever be noticed.

After you cash out, you will immediately receive a $3 bonus. For me, that takes the sting out of the $3 processing fee.

I was going to cash out when I got $30, but then it gave me an offer, if I will get it to $40 within the next 30 days, they will waive the $3 fee. That's why I am working hard now to get it. I am only about 20 cent short now. Thank you for all the information.

getforfree, make sure that if you're signing up for any trial offers to make your money, you save the TOS to your computer as well as any cancelling information in case you decide not to pay past the trial period! You can lose in one accidental forgotten trial double what you've worked diligently to earn.
