I noticed that your sidebar says that you want to improve your spending. Have you thought about which of these items you could eliminate or reduce?

I think about it day and night. Wink

Aside from evaluating your expenses, I would set up an emergency fund, you have very little extra money.

I agree, I don't have a great deal of "wiggle room". I do have some savings and I do try to add to them monthly.

    1. Are there any items you could eliminate completely? Gym (could you walk or workout at home)? Pest service (is DIY an option)?

    2. Which items can be reduced? Utilities (set the temp 1-2 degrees lower or higher depending on the season, take quicker showers, etc)? Grooming? Groceries?

    3. What is B of A? If it's bank fees (one of my pet peeves) I'll bet they could be eliminated.

    Good luck to you!!!

    Hi scfr,

I am trying to economize and reduce as much as I can. I know there is room for improvement. Right now I am really focusing on groceries and avoiding eating out.

I'm not willing to cancel the gym membership. It is a family membership and we use it a lot.

I keep the thermostat at 66, but I do often find lights on in rooms with no people. I'm trying to get nephew and son on board with this. Smile

B of A is credit card debt. I hate bank fees too!

I am new at tracking. It may be that I can come in lower and divert some funds away from expenses and towards net worth building. That is my goal anyway.

Please keep the helpful comments coming.
