Wallet Sweep

Today is a child support check day. So when I went to the bank, I decided to "sweep" some cash from my wallet. I had $51.77 in my wallet (of my $60.00 cash allowance). I deposited $11.77 into Piddly and will transfer it to my mortgage. That leaves me $40.00 until the 15th. I will need $10.00 tonight to get my eyebrows threaded, and will hang on to as much as the remaining $30.00 as I can. I will do the wallet sweep again on the 15th.

I am off to wellsfargo.com!

    Threading is an alternative to waxing. It is done with thread. The thread is twisted, held in both hands and between teeth, then twirled very quickly. It is an old technique in some parts of the world. It is popular around here, many salons offer it. I have it done by a woman who does it out of her home. The salon charges $17, she charges $7. I like to give her a nice tip, $10 is still a bargain.

    Waxing tends to make me blister, so I prefer threading.

    I will pick up a friend on my way, she has her eyebrows and upper lip threaded.

    Is threading as painful as we were told? My older daughter had her eyebrows waxed and she's been good about maintaining the shape. Younger daughter would like threading - but her eyebrows look perfect to me.

    In my opinion, it is less painful than waxing. But then I blister, most people don't.

    I had to look this one up...it looks painful, but can see how hot wax might not be for everyone. Myself, I tend to go bushy...lol. I hate tweezing hair and dont get waxed often enough to maintain...
