Mortgage Chips To Date

I have made my scheduled mortgage payment, along with an extra $7.07. I enjoyed another $25 credit from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage Visa. My new balance is $168,850.00.

Chips to date: $1,747.53

Interest savings this month: $6.29

Interest savings to date: $93.80

Eventually, the interest savings on the chips I have already made will compound to $3,798.50, provided I own this house until the mortgage is paid in full. Which I won't. Stick Out Tongue

Gosh, these entries are boring. I want something more exciting to happen.

    i love your chippy updates!!! they illustrate so well how putting seemingly inconsequential amounts of money toward something adds up to big savings. you've managed to chip off $1747 - that's so cool!! uh-oh, does this mean i'm boring? Smile
