Mortgage Chips To Date

My mortgage payment has posted. This month I paid an additional $19.96. My new balance is $165,300.00.

Chips to date: $2,004.00

Interest savings this month: $7.37

Interest savings to date: $168.48

Eventually, the interest savings on the chips I have already made will compound to $4,287.95, provided I own this house until July 1, 2042. Which I probably won't. Stick Out Tongue

    2042 sounds like a long time from now, but then being a child of the 60s, I thought 2000 would be a long time coming...boy, was I mistaken. Smile
