After 4 days of antibiotics, Bree was not responding. The vet felt it was renal failure rather than just an infection, so we made the decision to euthanize her yesterday.
For her boarding, meds, more blood work, euthanization and cremation, I "paid" another $300 via Visa.
Tomorrow I am going to my mom's for Easter dinner. It will be Mom, nephew, DD, DS, BF, and myself. I am looking forward to a nice day with my family, and just enjoying a day off. This has been a rough week, I am emotionally drained and tired.
I have a client who's 34 year old daughter died in a car accident earlier this month. So, I am trying to keep the passing of an elderly dog in perspective. But we will miss her.
RIP, Bree

Talk about timing. Just what we need to deal with *this* time of year. I am so very sorry for your loss.
