    Thank you for letting us know. Her silence for so long worried me. I missed her posts as they had been consistent for so many, many years. It is good to know what has happened to her, even though it is sad news.

    I am so sorry to hear this. I have been worried about her for some time. I knew that she was struggling with gangrene and it didn't sound good. She was a faithful and entertaining contributor here and I think we all felt we knew her. Deepest condolences to her family.

    Rest in peace, Julie. I too felt I knew Ima Saver, and miss her. As a fellow animal lover, I was touched that her dear Abbey was mentioned in the obituary (I remember when she got Abbey), and to see the mention of her local Humane Society.
